Blackmagic Studio Converter Blackmagic Studio Converter and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro's 10G Ethernet ports allow you to transmit all camera signals over one Ethernet IP connection. Accordingly, one cable transports all signals for camera feed, program return feed, timecode, reference, tally, talkback and control. This offers the advantages of SMPTE fiber but with a much cheaper, ordinary 10G Ethernet copper cable. Blackmagic Studio Converter allows studio side separation of all video, audio and talkback signals. It also provides a lot of power that feeds the camera through the Ethernet cable. So you don't even need a power source near the camera.
