Database Developers From Around the World Seek Boise Companys Expertise
300+ Members from 40 Countries Register for Developer Forum
(BOISE, ID) Boise-based Distributed Database Consulting Inc. (DDBC) has announced that since the unpublicized soft launch of their AskDDBC database developer forum in November, the online community has quickly attracted over 300 developers from over 40 countries and six continents.
Weve been pleasantly surprised with how many developers have found and registered for the forum in a relatively short period of time, said DDBC founder and president Ken Gibson. Its enabled us to create a truly meaningful and relevant professional forum where our consultants, together with the members, can tackle the complex challenges that some of these large companies are facing, added Gibson. We really try and take the time to provide thoughtful and accurate answers.
The AskDDBC forum was created to address questions relating to Relational Database systems and the technologies that interact with them. DDBCs expert consultants answer questions that are posted free of charge and all members are encouraged to contribute their thoughts on any of the postings.
Whats amazed me is the diversity of our membership, coming from such far-flung places as Thailand and Tunisia, noted Gibson. This is of particular interest to DDBC as weve had a fair deal of experience in working with issues of internationalization and localization and weve helped clients expand their domestic database operations to become global. It is our hope that some of the relationships that emerge from this forum eventually become true partnerships.
Founded in 1997, Boise-based DDBC, Inc., offers systems integration, project management, database design and development and data warehousing services to local and national clients, including Fortune 500 high-tech and financial services companies.
